About Moraga, CA - Happy to be your hometown Heating & Air Conditioning Contractor!

Situated in Contra Costa County, California, in the San Francisco Bay Area, Moraga is a suburban incorporated town, which consists of former communities like Rheem Valley, Moraga Town and Rheem. Named to honor Joaquin Moraga - grandson of Jose Joaquin Moraga - the town is considered one of the best places to live in East Bay and is known for its outstanding schools, beautiful rolling hills and pear orchards.

The Moraga Commons Parks offers something for everybody with a skate park, volleyball and baseball courts as well as playground equipment and more. It also serves as the perfect place to catch the Lafayette-Moraga Regional Trail, which is a favorite for bikers, walkers and runners. Other great walking and hiking trails include the wooded trails around Canyon and Mulholland Ridge with its spectacular views.

There are many popular restaurants and shops located in Moraga and Rheem shopping centers. A weekly farmers market is held at the Moraga Shopping Center on Sundays, whereas the Rheem Center also features a movie theater for entertainment.  Hacienda de las Flores on the other hand, is a popular spot for large-scale parties and weddings. The town also hosts a number of notable events throughout the course of the year, including a popular Easter egg hunt, a pear festival, a Spring Community Faire, Cinco de Mayo at Hacienda de Las Flores, Fourth of July fun run and Oktoberfest.

The town has lower real estate prices than Lafayette and Orinda with a wide variety of housing options to choose from. As far as education goes, the schools are excellent. The Moraga Unified School District consists of three elementary schools and one middle school. Teens often study at Campolindo, which is one of the most popular high schools in the Acalanes Union High School District. There are also a number of private schools located in the town, offering parents more options if they are seeking alternatives for their kids.

Moraga receives 22 inches of rainfall and 0 inches of snowfall per year. With the average high in the summer months around 74 degrees, having a good air conditioning system is essential to lower the temperature in your home.
